Best Places to Find Internet Coupons
You probably already know frugal shopper’s golden rule – never pay a full price. There are so many internet coupons available that it is almost a crime not to use them.
My favorite way to find internet coupons is good old Google. If you know specifically what you are interested in, you don’t have to browse multiple forums with hot deals and coupon codes. If you are looking for let’s say, Victoria’s Secret free shipping coupon, you just type “VS free shipping coupon” in search box, click search and you are almost set.
There is a site called Retailmenot.com, which I use quite a bit. They have more than 150,000 internet coupons and 90, 000 printable coupons available. You can search coupons by store, by item, or even by zip code.
There are also numerous forums such as Slickdeals.net or FatWallet.com, where frugal shoppers across the country share their best deals and internet coupon finds and give tips how to combine coupons to get better deals. Reading these forums may be time consuming, but if you have free time and want to get the most out of your money, you should check them out.
These forums have threads dedicated to particular stores. For example, there is a CVS thread on Slickdeals, which has regular coupon contributors, who not only hunt for best deals, but show best coupon combination to others. To be honest, I got overwhelmed by the thread, because there was too much to learn and I barely have any time right now. But what I did learn was that people who are good at “cvs-ing” get all their make-up, hygiene items etc. for 5-10% of its retail price. You can’t beat getting a $12 mascara for 40 cents, but I personally get uncomfortable when some store associates are looking at you like you are a criminal when you are getting stuff so cheap, even if all your coupons are legitimate. That’s why I prefer to shop online and look primarily for internet coupons. I can combine, get fantastic deals and don’t have to deal with anyone’s attitudes.
One of the best places to find printable coupons online is Coupons.com
They update their site regularly and they have coupons for food, beauty items, restaurants and a lot more. It is free and very easy to join, but you do need to have a printer.
