9. Cell phone Battery. Turn your phone off when you are not planning to be using it (when you sleep or when you are water-skiing, for example). Also, if you are somewhere where there is poor reception, turn the phone off. When your phone is searching for service, it is working very hard, so they battery will die fast.
Avoid using unnecessary features. Things like Bluetooth or GPS will drain your battery very quickly.
To make the life of your battery longer, keep it cool. Leaving your phone on the sun is a bad idea, because extended exposure to hot temperatures will destroy your battery quickly.
If you need to store your battery, store it in a cool place- refrigerator is OK, but stay away from freezer. Also, make sure that your battery is not exposed to moisture.
If you charging the battery in your car, don’t do it when your car is very hot inside. Let it cool down before plugging the phone.
10. Make-up sponge. Clean make-up sponges every time after using them with antibacterial soap and water and let them air dry (if you are a guy, make sure you teach the woman in your life to do that). If you (or she) are too lazy to do that, buy sponges in drugstores to save money. Store brands work just fine and they are much cheaper than the brand name sponges in beauty stores.
11. Ink cartridge. Save money by giving a proper care to your ink cartridges, because these can be very expensive.
To make sure your ink cartridges last longer, don’t expose them to hot or very cold temperatures. Use color printing only when you need it. Sure, colored pages look nicer, but if you are trying to save money, print in grayscale.
If your printer light come on and warns you that your ink is low, don’t change it right away. Usually you can print at least 20-50 more pages before it actually runs out.
Do not stop printer when it is still working on printing something, because it may cause ink leakage.
Don’t shut your printer off every time, because it may cause printer ink to dry.

You say don’t store fruits in the fridge. Then you say put bananas in the fridge. I’m confused. Are bananas an exception?
I said not to store citrus fruits in the fridge. Banana is not citrus.
